Welcome to the home of @TheBasementBarbell and Vaughan House Fitness! My name is Mitch Vaughan and I am beyond excited to welcome you to my home and share with you my passion for fitness and healthy living. I am an advocate for not only pursuing health and fitness as a personal lifestyle choice to better YOURSELF, but also as one for the loved ones around you. Let’s face it, they want to see you achieve a better and healthier YOU, too!

My pursuit is to educate and inform. Whether you are just starting out or have been a “gym rat” for a while and need that extra push. Let me share with you my passion and help you reach your goals along the way.

The private studio is appropriately found in the basement of the Vaughan’s home in Forest, VA. Outfitted with commercial grade equipment, it is designed to accommodate a variety of disciplines (i.e. strength training, powerlifting, olympic weightlifting, HIIT, etc…), and provide an exclusive training environment without the negative distractions of a commercial facility.
